ABOUT THE CAPHC ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Join us in the historical metropolitan city of Montréal, Québec for the largest annual meeting of the child and youth healthcare provider community in Canada. The CAPHC Annual Conference engages a broad stakeholder group of approximately 400 delegates that includes Hospital CEOs, Chief Financial Officers, Senior Administrators, Physicians, Clinical Directors, Multidisciplinary Practitioners, Policy Makers, Researchers, Families, Youth and many others.
While exploring this year's theme, Engaging Children, Youth and Family: Are You Ready to Move Beyond Good Intentions, CAPHC will encourage attendees to take the steps necessary towards making family and patient engagement a reality and a priority while continuing the tradition of showcasing the emergence of effective and innovative models of care, as well as highlighting the needs, challenges and strategies to ensure access to the very best healthcare for all children and youth.
This year's Annual Conference will be co-hosted by the Montreal Children's Hospital and the Shriners Children's Hospital. As always, it will draw attention to the true collaborative nature of the CAPHC community and will highlight many national partnerships and collaborative programs with the CAPHC Patient Safety Collaborative, Canadian Child and Youth Health Coalition, the Canadian Family Advisory Network, the Canadian Network of Child and Youth Rehabilitation, and many more!
Our goal is to ensure that all who attend have the opportunity to reflect on best practices and the latest research and innovations as a base for creating and implementing new programs that enhance the quality of care for children and youth in their own treatment environments.
The conference will provide a mix of Keynote, Plenary and Concurrent sessions. A highly energized Poster Fair and a variety of networking opportunities will also be highlights of this annual event.
