About the Teddy Bear Clinic
Children are invited to bring a stuffed animal or a doll for a ‘check-up’ with real health professionals!
- The Teddy Bear Clinic teaches children about the ins and outs of the health care in a friendly manner. Kids learn about the different important areas of their Health by helping teddy to feel better. By using their stuffed animal as a patient, children can learn more about coming to see the doctor in a fun and friendly way.
- After visiting the Teddy Bear Clinic, children will feel more confident when they need to see a health professional.
- Parents will be more aware of the importance of a healthy living and the resources available in Calgary South.
This year our clinic will include: Doctors, Mental Health, Oral health, Public Health and Speech.
